How much does a security guard cost in Seattle?
We price each property to its needs. Standing guards and fire watch bill by the hour. Mobile patrol is a flat monthly rate based on visits per night. Armed coverage, overnight hours and the size of the property all affect the price. After a short call and a free risk assessment you get a clear quote with no hidden fees.
How soon can security services begin?

Are your security guards licensed and insured?
Yes. Every guard holds a Washington private security guard license under RCW 18.170 and passes a background check and drug screen before assignment. Blu Wing Security LLC holds Washington Security Guard Company License #23013670. We carry general liability, auto and workers' comp coverage and can name you as additional insured.
Do you provide armed security guards?
Yes. Most properties need unarmed guards, and we place armed guards under a separate written agreement for sites with elevated risk, events with a door to hold or a history of weapons on site.
Do you provide security for apartments and HOAs?
It's most of what we do. We protect 40+ apartment communities, HOAs and mixed-use buildings across the Puget Sound, covering garages, stairwells, package rooms and amenity spaces. We're an approved vendor in NetVendor, RealPage, RMIS, Vendor Cafe and Compliance Depot.
Do you offer construction site security?
Yes. We post guards overnight and on weekends, and we can add a solar camera trailer with 24/7 live monitoring for the hours a guard isn't there.
When do I need a fire watch?
When your fire alarm or sprinkler system is down, the fire marshal can require a fire watch until it's repaired. Our officers walk the building on a set schedule and keep the written fire watch log the fire marshal asks for. Learn how fire watch works.
Do you offer CCTV monitoring or just on-site guards?
Both. We install cameras or monitor the ones you have, and our team can talk to people on site through two-way audio. Monitoring works on its own or alongside patrol and guards.
What happens if something goes wrong after hours?
Our dispatch answers 24/7 at (888) 900-8285. An officer responds, and you get a written incident report within 12 hours. For injury, fire, weapons or forced entry, we call you right away.
